David Pugliese, O.D.

Dr. David Pugliese, OD, is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist committed to providing personalized, high-quality eye care for patients of all ages. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry, Class of 2013.

Prior to his doctoral training, Dr. Pugliese completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont and Providence College. During his clinical education, Dr. Pugliese gained diverse experience through rotations in Boston and internationally in Madrid, Spain, where he developed a broad perspective on patient care and ocular health.

Following graduation, he practiced in New York City at Harlem Hospital, further honing his skills in managing a wide range of eye conditions in a dynamic clinical setting.


Dr. Pugliese has a strong professional interest in amblyopia and myopia management for children, helping young patients achieve better long-term visual outcomes. He is also passionate about glaucoma management and sports vision, working closely with patients to preserve eye health and enhance visual performance both in everyday life and athletics.


Outside the office, Dr. Pugliese enjoys staying active in his community. He plays baseball and hockey in local leagues, spends time gardening, and takes advantage of the winter months snowboarding. He values time with his family above all and lives with his wife, Kayleigh, and their children, Ruby and Frankie.
