Owner: Dr. John Pugliese, O.D.

Dr. Pugliese is renowned in the state for over 35 years of compassionate eye care in the state of Rhode Island. From his start on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence, to his time at the Lincoln Mall, loyal patients have followed Dr. Pugliese where ever he may go to get the best eye care available. Now you can see him at the Smithfield Medical Center where he works with many other doctors of other specialties to provide integrated eye care.
Dr. Dave is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry class of 2013. He studied as an undergraduate at Providence College where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Pre-Optometry concentration.
His clinical rotations included the Veteran's Affairs Hospital in Bedford, Massachusetts, Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury, Massachusetts and Centro Boston de Optometria in Madrid, Spain. Dr. Dave also spent a year working at Harlem Hospital in New York City where he worked closely with some of the best ophthalmologists in the city.
He also currently serves as Adjunct Clinical Professor at MCPHS University School of Optometry in Worcester, MA.
Dr. Nicole Patricio, O.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Patricio is a graduate of MCPHS college of optometry in Worcester MA where she graduated with her doctor of optometry and her masters in public health. She is a member of the Rhode Island Optometric Association and has been elected to their board of directors for 2017. Dr. Patricio completed her clinical training at Fenway Health Center in Boston MA.
Dr. Patricio was born and raised in New Bedford MA and earned her bachelors degree from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
